ScotDance Canada would like to Congratulate the Regina Highland Dance Association (RHDA) for a job well done last weekend at the Walk so Kids Can Talk put on to raise funds for the Kid’s Help Phone.
Dancers from across Regina came together to walk and fundraise in memory of one of our dancers (Imogen’s parents also joined us on the walk). The site of all the kilts walking took your breathe away and the head office of Kids Help Phone is talking about our group at their office in Toronto. This was such a positive event that had all our dancers coming together.
Highland dancers supports their communities across Canada in so many ways. The RHDA group had the 2nd highest fundraising total in Regina (see link below):
In addition to the team walk, one dancer also raised donations in lieu of gifts for her birthday and raised $970 for this cause.
